1. Who we are
Orderee (“Orderee”, “we”, “us”) is operated by [[COMPANY NAME]], registered in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under commercial registration number [[REGISTRATION NUMBER]], with its registered address at [[REGISTERED ADDRESS]].
You can reach us at support@orderee-app.com.
These Terms govern your use of the Orderee website at orderee-app.com and the Orderee mobile applications for customers, partner restaurants and delivery riders. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.
2. What Orderee is — and what it is not
Orderee is a marketplace. We provide the platform on which independent restaurants (“Partner Restaurants”) list their menus and accept orders, and through which delivery is arranged.
Orderee does not cook, prepare, package or sell food. The contract for the food itself is between you and the Partner Restaurant. The Partner Restaurant is responsible for the preparation, quality, safety, labelling, allergen information and legal compliance of everything it sells.
Where delivery is provided, we arrange it through independent riders.
3. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal capacity in Jordan, whichever is higher, to hold an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Tell us promptly at support@orderee-app.com if you believe someone else has accessed it.
Your mobile number is part of how we identify you. A number already registered to another account cannot be used, and changing it may require verification.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, is used fraudulently, or is used to abuse Partner Restaurants or riders.
4. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when the Partner Restaurant confirms it — not when you tap the button, and not when payment is authorised.
A Partner Restaurant may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, the address is outside its delivery area, or it is closing. If an order is declined and you have already paid, you are refunded in full.
Menus, prices and availability are set by the Partner Restaurant and can change. We show you what the restaurant has given us.
Allergies and dietary requirements. Ingredient and allergen information comes from the Partner Restaurant. If you have an allergy or a medical dietary requirement, contact the restaurant directly before ordering. We cannot guarantee that any item is free of any particular ingredient, and kitchens handling multiple dishes carry a risk of cross-contamination.
5. Prices, tax and fees
All prices are shown in Jordanian Dinar (JOD).
Prices displayed include state whether displayed prices include the 16% tax or add it at checkout. The total payable is the total shown at checkout, which may include:
- the price of the items
- a delivery fee, which varies by distance and by restaurant
- applicable tax
- a platform or service fee (if you charge one)
We take reasonable care that prices are accurate. If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we or the Partner Restaurant may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price.
6. Payment
Payment methods available today are cash on delivery.
Where you pay by card or online, payment is processed by our payment provider our payment provider (name it once card payment is enabled). We do not store your full card details.
Where you pay cash on delivery, you agree to have the correct amount available. A rider may decline to complete a delivery if payment cannot be made.
7. Delivery and collection
Delivery times shown in the app are estimates. They depend on preparation time, traffic, weather and rider availability, and are not guaranteed.
You must provide an accurate delivery address and a contactable phone number. If a rider cannot reach you, cannot access the address, or waits beyond 10 minutes, the order may be treated as delivered and state your refund position.
Someone aged 18 or over must be present to receive an order containing age-restricted items.
For collection orders, you collect from the Partner Restaurant at the time indicated.
8. Cancellations, refunds and problems
Cancelling. You may cancel free of charge until the Partner Restaurant begins preparing your order. After preparation begins, a cancellation may be refused or charged, because the food has already been made.
If something is wrong — an item missing, the wrong item, food arriving in unacceptable condition — contact us at support@orderee-app.com within 48 hours of delivery, with your order number and, where possible, a photograph.
Where a complaint is upheld we will, at our discretion, offer a refund, a partial refund, or a credit. Refunds are made to the original payment method and may take 5-10 working days to appear.
Nothing here limits your rights under Jordanian consumer protection law.
9. If you are a Partner Restaurant
Separate commercial terms reference your signed partner/rider agreement govern your relationship with us. In addition:
- you are responsible for the accuracy of your menu, prices, photographs, allergen and ingredient information
- you must hold all licences and food-safety approvals required in Jordan and keep them current
- you are responsible for the food you prepare and for meeting the preparation times you advertise
- commission, platform fees and payout timing are as set out in your agreement
- you are responsible for the conduct of staff using the Orderee POS under your account
10. If you are a rider
Separate terms reference your signed partner/rider agreement apply. In addition:
- you must hold a valid licence and any permits required to carry out deliveries in Jordan, and appropriate insurance
- you must follow road traffic law; nothing in the app requires or excuses unsafe riding
- while on shift the app collects your location so orders can be assigned and tracked — see the Privacy Policy
- you are responsible for the safe handling of food in your possession
Your lawyer must confirm the engagement status of riders under Jordanian labour law — employee, contractor or otherwise. It materially changes this section and your obligations.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Orderee for anything unlawful
- place fraudulent, abusive or deliberately false orders
- abuse, threaten or harass restaurant staff, riders or our team
- attempt to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours
- scrape, copy or resell our content, or interfere with the service’s operation
We may suspend or close accounts that do any of this.
12. Promotions and coupons
Promotional codes are valid only as stated, for the period stated, and may be withdrawn at any time. Unless we say otherwise they cannot be combined, have no cash value, and are void if obtained or used fraudulently.
13. Our responsibility to you
We provide the platform with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
We are not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of food prepared by a Partner Restaurant, and we are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable at the time you placed your order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Liability cap — your lawyer should set this and confirm it is enforceable under Jordanian law.
14. Your data
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at https://orderee-app.com/privacy-policy/.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version in force is the one published here when you place your order. If we make a significant change we will take reasonable steps to tell you.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction.
